- Dale Currie bought Aminet 10from Safe Harbor Computers and found it
- damaged...There have been an inordinate amount of replies, almost all
- thinking that Safe Harbor should have replaced, at their own expense,
- A.S.A.P.
-
- Ken Munn kind of sums up this ongoing story succinctly:
-
- >So if you go to the grocery story and buy a frozen dinner, find it to
- >be unusable, you will send it back to the manufacturer? I think not.
- >I have also dealt with Safe Harbor and have been happy BUT I have never
- >needed to deal with returns. If thier damaged goods policy is to send
- >it back to the manufacturer, where-ever in the multiverse that may be,
- >then I will re-think future purchases. When I pay for the product and
- >include shipping charges, I should not have to pay for shipping again
- >to get what I have already paid for. If you do not agree then I have
- >a LOT of software on old floppies I am willing to sell ;)

- I seem to be hearing more and more griping about Safe Harbor. I wonder
- why? Life is getting more difficult for the few retailer that are left
- out there (less competition- slacker service, ro, less competition but
- also less Amiga users//customers?)
